The Naughty little Maltipoo

The Maltipoo is a dog breed product of the cross between a Maltese and a Poodle, which has gained high popularity due to their train-ability, intelligence and good character, as well its ability to adapt to any home or family.
As for its history, this small dog was bred to be a hypoallergenic companion dog. They have enjoyed the affection of celebrities and are among the most popular of the so-called design breeds. Most litters are the result of the first generation offspring among its predecessors, but some are played at Maltipoos.
It is not an officially recognized dog breed, but have formed the American Maltipoo / Maltepoo Club.
As for its features, it is a dog with an average weight of 2.7 to 4.1 kilograms, a size ranging between 25.4 to 35.6 centimeters and a life expectancy of 12 to 15 years. Similarly, it has a long, silky, soft, fluffy and wavy coat usually brown white, apricot or white spots.
The maltipoo is a friendly, brave, playful, energetic, mischievous and faithful pet, that takes very well with the family, especially with older children and the elderly; also it can live together and get along with other dogs and pets, but they are reserved with strangers, so it can also be a good guardian.
This small pet is easily adapted to life in apartments, as they like to be in the home with the members of the house. Although it is an easy dog to train (especially with positive reinforcement) and learns quickly, it tends to be very protective and territorial, it is important to be socialize at an early age, to help them to accept strangers. Exercise it to combat boredom barking; is important for them to learn to be alone, because they can develop separation anxiety and present a destructive behavior.
As for its health, although it is a healthy dog, it may suffer from retinal atrophy, breathing problems, bad teeth, hip dysplasia, bloating, even knee, feet, spine, heart problems, epilepsy or dislocation the kneecap.
Finally, the Maltipoo needs regular hair brushing to keep its coat free of knots, bathe him to keep it clean, cutting the hair around the eyes, clean the ears to remove dirt and moisture, brushing their teeth two or three times a week to remove bacteria, in addition to nail clipping two or three times a month.
